As I reflect on my first quarter academic experience, I can say that this has been a journey of exploration for me. Honestly, I can say that it's a lot different than the last few school years. I was scared and excited at the same time. Well, I started to adjust and adapt myself to this new environment. However, I discovered effective study habits that helped me in my academic performance. As a student who’s unmotivated sometimes, knowing study strategies that suit me as well as proper time management is very essential. Having knowledge of these enhances my skills, helps me to be more productive and focused, deepens my understanding of the subject matter, and also builds personal skills such as confidence and self-esteem.

One of the challenges that I have encountered is the adjustments that I’ll need to do since it is much different than the last few years. The other subjects became more challenging (the lessons and activities) which made me doubt my capabilities—not to make an honor student. I also thought that the teachers would be very strict for the reason that I’m already at a high-grade level, kidding aside, I also struggled with balancing my personal responsibilities, which often felt overwhelming.
In overcoming this obstacle, I implemented proper time management that helped me allocate time for both academic and personal responsibilities. Also, instead of fear controlling me, I use it as an inspiration and motivation. Because at the end of the day, I know I can make it and will make it at all times.
Moving on, I will continue to refine my time management skills and setting clear academic goals that will help me to stay motivated and balanced as I navigate the upcoming quarters. I will give the very best in me all the time and will strive for a brighter future. As the quote says, “If you strive for excellence, success will follow”. In conclusion, this reflection has reinforced my commitment to personal growth and resilience in the face of challenges.
